The raw material of Sugarcane products is bagasse, a by-product of sugar production.
Bagasse is the fiber that results from the extraction of cane juices, when the remaining fibers are compressed under conditions of high temperature and low pressure, consuming less energy than the process of pulping wood to create paper products.
As it is a by-product, it does not require additional arable land and does not affect forest areas.
